Somer Blink Exposed

Somer Blink scams EVE Online players out of trillions of ISK
Somer Blink:  A slick website and home of the biggest and longest running scam in EVE Online history

We love EVE Online and the unlimited facets of the game. It is a rich and immersive persistent universe which gives individual players, and corporations alike, freedom to impact the course of history in the EVE universe.

One of the most intriguing features of the game is the player driven economy.

Another aspect unique to the game is rampant crime.  The game is really based upon it.  Players and corporations can scam, steal, lie, cheat, scheme, manipulate the market, and basically take advantage of other players without any recourse from CCP.

Those two points combined allows unscrupulous players and corporations to make massive amounts of ISK and have a significant impact on the economy as a whole.

It is up to EVE Online players to protect themselves, and each other at all times.  That is the purpose of this website.

Somer Blink has taken over 150 trillion ISK from players!

Our goal is to help educate players about the micro-lottery website called Somer Blink.  We want to keep people from becoming their next victim, and stop the damage they are doing to the EVE Online economy and the game as a whole.

The lure of Somer Blink is easily understood.  They actually do have a well designed website that is very entertaining, and they have a firm grasp of human psychology and addiction.

However, their slick website is just a facade for the biggest and longest running scam in EVE Online history.

Don't get scammed by Somer Blink!

    1. Who else could afford it besides those thieves? It surely was financed by Somer Blink's cheating operation.

    2. Revenants weren't brought for the amount stated as being lost. The blueprints were dropped in incursions, and likely to have been farmed by the alliances that fly em.

They are just taking advantage of stupid people. They make a killing off player's greed and human addiction.

Is Somer Blink a scam? Probably, but by CCP rules, or lack of, they can do whatever they want. Even if it is cheating Eve Online players out if their ISK.

i lost over a billion isk in under a hour the only time i played blink. friggin site is a ripoff most definitly rigged. i was betting on all kinds of stuff small, big, and ultra or whatever. not once did i win anything big. the only things i won were small things i could of just bought outright. when my isk ran out my list of recently completed blinks, 25 i think, had no winners. NOT A ONE!!! 25 blinks in a row and not one winner? try and tell me THAT'S NOT A SCAM! do your self a favor and stay away from these cheaters.

  14. Lol, I just discoverd Blink. Hadn't heard of it until last week. I deposited 1 bil to start with and now I'm sitting on a Dreadnaught, Carrier, Jump Freighter, and 5 bil isk in the wallet.

I got lucky as all hell to win a few good ones in a row. But I've lost a ton on the site too. Overall I'm way ahead, but that's how gambling works. If you get this upset over a video game gambling site, then I recommend you never go to Vegas (I go twice a year and make bank).

I, too, won for a while when I first started playing Blink. But then it took a serious turn for the worse. I am convinced that they let new players win a little to get them hooked, then rig the odds over time for that player, eventually stealing all of their ISK. A short term winner will become a long term loser.

Just a word of advice from someone who has been there.

  15. I'll preface this by saying I'm a total stranger to the politics of EVE, and am a legitimate unbiased party. I've won 4x as much as I put in to their site, netting me 3billion in profits (about half of which I turned into in-game assets, the other half dumped into the Blink pool). So maybe they keep a (proportionally small) percentage for personal gain - shame on them for profiting on something they maintain and built, right?

It is ridiculous to call a gambling service a scam, because that's what gambling is. "Do I want to risk 25,000,000 to have a chance at winning a Bhaalgorn?" Hell yes I do! The cost of potentially winning a vast sum of money is that you may lose your investment or buy-in (read: gamble).

The simple fact that many of the same people win over long durations is that they have the money to buy winning ratios of tickets. Any other explanation requires a tinfoil hat. I've lost bids where I bought 80% of the tickets, and I've won promo blinks where the odds are 1:600. Don't play if you cannot understand any casino's risk v reward model.

Teach people to gamble responsibly, don't denounce the game.

    1. Do you even know what you're talking about? LOL...

You state you've "won 4x" as much as you put in, and then go on to say you've dumped half of your "profits" into the Blink pool. That wouldn't be profit now, would it?

25,000,000 ticket for a Bhaalgorn? Not quite! Try 77,000,000 right now. Again, do you even know what you're talking about?

I guess YOU are the reason the site exists. Because there are plenty like you who fall for the Somer Blink scam and yet find a way to convince yourself that it's legit.

      ;-)

  16. LMAO you people kill me. Its a freaking gambling site. They offer a service and people obviously enjoy playing the odds or they wouldn't be popular enough to have an entire site dedicated to hating on them because they didn't come up with the idea first.

Never gamble unless you are willing to lose what ever you started with. Random numbers are random numbers. There are going to be streaks. You talk about sample size but yet you only show a very small sample of data. Practice what you preach morons.

  17. It's a casino. Of course the odds, buyins and payouts are set in such a manner that the house makes a healthy profit. The rakes from each lottery go to straff payments, promos, free giveaways and naturally, profit to the owner.

As for the debate if it's rigged or not: I've played blink on and off for two years. Around 40.000 blinks played. I have never won a promo, but until yesterday I had made a total profit of about 30 billion isk. Sometimes I won, sometimes I lost. Yesterday I struck gold and won 52 billion in 3 hours before I called it a day, closed blink and bought a wyvern. On my worst day I lost 18 billion in about 20 minutes. On a normal day I put in 2-3 billion and play until I lost it or trppled it.

My opinion? Blink is what they say they are. A gambling site, a casino. They don't cheat or scam you because they don't need to. They make a lot of isk no matter who win or lose, since the total price of the tickets exceed the value of the prize. That is not a scam, it's normal and expected behaviour of a casino.
